JIb Crane Specialists
These cranes are excellent for low-cost lifting and handling of goods effectively within a plant. They are constructed with a horizontal beam – the jib arm – which is swung by a moveable hoist. The jib is fixed to a building column or the ground by a free standing column. These cranes are easy to install and use and can be moved to a different area of the worksite without much difficulty.
Our jib cranes are manually or electrically rotated, and are available in both column and wall mounted versions. There are several different types, including: top braced wall mounted, top braced free standing, under braced wall mounted, and under braced free standing. They are utilised as stand-alone structures or in conjunction with other jibs and monorails. With a load capacity of up to 3.2 tonne, they can be up to 6 metres in length, with a slewing range of up to 360 degrees.
Jib cranes are also ideally suited for busy workshops as they reduce tradesman's waiting time, which reduces cost.
Top Braced Wall Mounted Jib Crane
These mount easily to any substantial structural steel building column, at any desired height. The crane has a structural steel finish, in highly visible yellow enamel.
Under Braced Wall Mounted Crane
These Jibs are ideal for low buildings and offer better hook lift.
Top Braced Free Standing Crane
These are useful where overhead cranes are not practical or feasible. They offer 274 degree floor coverage, allowing unrestricted placement of machinery and equipment.
